How long does the construction process take?

The timeline for construction depends on the size, complexity, and customization level of your project. On average:

  • Custom homes typically take 10 to 14 months from groundbreaking to completion. Larger homes may take upwards of 16 months.

  • Detached structures like garages, guest houses, or workshops can often be completed in 2 to 8 months, depending on features like plumbing, HVAC, finishes, and features.

Before construction begins, we also guide you through the design, permitting, and planning stages, which may take anywhere from 6 to 12+ weeks, depending on your specific project and the local approval process.
